We each have our own
ways of moving forward in
this tumultuous,

scary time. The fear
is real. The worry — for those
we know, and those we

don’t — real. Awareness
that the guardrails will soon be
knocked away and that

we’re set in motion
to watch Democracy’s death —
real. I acknowledge,

this ‘experiment’
has worked a whole lot better
for those who look like

me, than for those who
don’t. While some are spending time
trying to figure

out what happened and
why, I pose this question: How
will that help us build

what we will need to
move forward? I am pretty
certain that I know

what happened and why.
I also know that to be
part of the change that

is to come — in both
big and small ways — the anger
and feeding into
