Speak Up; Speak Out

I will continue
to speak up and speak out for
truth, morality,

equal rights, access
to affordable healthcare,
and decency. Some

keep their mouths shut so
as not to make waves. That props
up the liars and

cheats who care about
no one but themselves. To not
find ways to talk ‘bout

what is happening,
you are part of the problem.
I’m not suggesting

that everyone be
as outspoken as I am,
but each person needs

to find their voice and
use it. If democracy
completely dies in

our country, how will
you feel if you’ve done nothing
to save it? I have

had uncomfortable
conversations with friends and
relatives I love.

I listen and want
them to listen to me. We
are at a crossroads,

as John Kasich said
at the DNC. Please be
strong. Please do the work.
